On April 11, we had the incredible honor of catering the first-ever FLOURISH Luncheon, a new annual fundraiser at the Missouri Botanical Garden. This event was a true celebration of spring, the joy of gardening, and the vital work of the Missouri Botanical Garden, and we are thrilled to have been a part of it!
The day began with an inspiring talk from Jennifer Jewell of Cultivating Place: Natural History & the Human Impulse to Garden. Her words set the tone for the afternoon, highlighting the importance of gardening and the beauty it brings to our lives. As guests mingled in the beautifully decorated Bayer Event Center, they enjoyed exquisite garden décor created by Maypop Coffee & Garden Shop, accompanied by delightful drinks from 1220 Spirits and Hermannhof Winery.
We extend our deepest thanks and gratitude to the event committee, Members’ Board, the St. Louis Herb Society, and event emcee Kristen Cornett from KMOV, who all played vital roles in making this event a success. A special thank you goes to our ticket buyers, silent auction bidders, and generous sponsors, including the Ann and Douglas Brown Family Foundation. Their support helped establish FLOURISH to honor the legacy of the late June Hutson, a horticulture legend and beloved Garden staff member.
Mark your calendars—FLOURISH 2025 promises to be even more spectacular! Stay tuned for details, and we look forward to celebrating with you next year.
