7 Corporate Event Ideas for Spring

Your team’s been working hard. Whether you’ve all been toiling away remotely or have donned your masks and driven to the front lines everyday, the past year made every worker in St. Louis adapt to difficult circumstances. With hope on the horizon, it’s time to celebrate and show your team just how grateful you are for their efforts.

Warmer weather is in the forecast and spring is finally here. Why not plan a corporate event that will really knock their socks off? We realize it takes a while to plan a corporate event, so some of these ideas will have to wait until next year. But we can certainly give you a few suggestions for a fantastic springtime event!

(1) Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day

Americans love St. Patrick’s Day arguably more than the Irish do! Invite your team to don their green apparel and get together for Irish food and drinks. Spaces like Three Barn Farm give you plenty of room to mingle and enjoy one another’s company.

(2) Remember, March is Women’s History Month

You don’t need a holiday to celebrate the women in your organization who make your success possible. A venue like La Verona at the Marketplace is perfect for an event that celebrates women—especially if those women like wine!

(3) Administrative Professionals Day is the Last Wednesday in April

Administrative professionals keep businesses running smoothly. Show them you appreciate their contribution by throwing them a party. Think luxury and charm for these workers who are too often overlooked. We suggest planning a celebration at Whittemore House

(5) Throw a Kentucky Derby Party, the First Saturday in May

Hosting a Kentucky Derby Party is a fantastic idea for a team that wants to dress up a little, polish their nice shoes and pick out a fancy hat. You don’t necessarily have to place bets on what’s called “the most exciting 2 minutes in sports,” but it’s certainly fun to watch as you sip your mint julep and enjoy the atmosphere with your colleagues. We think City Cottage on Chouteau is a perfect spot for this soiree.

(5) Celebrate Cinco de Mayo

If the Kentucky Derby isn’t your style, why not pass around the margaritas at a Cinco de Mayo celebration? Great food, great atmosphere, great company. It’s sure to be a hit.

(6) Book a Scavenger Hunt with Catering St. Louis Events

We host activities at several of our venues that are just right for a corporate event—like our Scavenger Hunt at Missouri Botanical Garden! Perfect for a group of 100 to 250 people, our Scavenger Hunt makes for a great team building activity. Plus, it comes with food stations and a full bar!

(7) Our Great American BBQ

When the weather is warm and spirits are up, you know it’s time for a barbecue. We host a laid-back event for groups of 50 to 250 people at several different locations. Your team can expect hot dogs, hamburgers, lemonade and alcoholic beverages, plus lawn games to make the event fun for everyone. Learn more about this and our other themed corporate events and choose the one that best suits your business.
