World’s Fair Pavilion

Open-air Mediterranean pavilion in Forest Park

The World’s Fair Pavilion has been one of Forest Park’s most popular and impressive attractions since it was built in 1909 with proceeds from the 1904 World’s Fair. Recently renovated with all the modern amenities, this venue is great for larger events and is conveniently located on the south side of the park near Highway 64 and Hampton Avenue by the Saint Louis Zoo.

This magnificent open-air shelter commands one of the most dramatic views of the park, sitting atop Government Hill overlooking the Boathouse, Post-Dispatch Lake, the Emerson Grand Basin and a beautiful and newly redesigned cascading stone water fountain.
